Also, there is a badge to be completed at home:

Hobbies Activity badge – To gain this badge a Beaver must
- Take part in a chosen hobby for an agreed period.
- Tell and show the Colony the chosen hobby.

If your Beaver would like to gain this badge, please tell us what hobby they will be taking part in for the next 6 weeks. After Easter they must tell and show us their chosen hobby. (They can bring in things for this)

Active Kids Vouchers

We are starting to collect the Active Kids Vouchers that you get from Sainsburys. There is a lot of useful equipment that we would be able to get for the group. Please can you save any vouchers that you get and let us have them so that we can purchase items that we need.

Party in the Park

This year there is a party in Avenham Park after St Georges Day Parade, this is to celebrate 100 years of scouting in Preston District. There will be rides, inflatables, games, crafts, campfire and much much more. See this letter for more information.
Responses are required for 8th March.

Wanted - Leaders

We are also looking for volunteers to become warranted leaders as Pam will be stepping down in July and concentrating on the Group Scout Leader role. Lauren Hollis will take over as Beaver Scout Leader. The Beaver Colony will only work with good leaders so please get in touch to find out more.
